On friday a bunch of us leaders and some parents spent the day at the scout hut giving it a bit of a clean up and lick of paint. We’ve just about re painted the main hall which looks amazing!! Its really colourful and clean looking, the walls had started to look grubby and we had some problems with leaks in the wet weather. I’m very glad i got to paint the Explorers wall bright pink!!! The canoe storage has been tidyd up and the hall and the toilets are being painted and tidyd up.
I’m hopefully going back down tommorrow to help finish off if im not working.
The kids and parents will get a shock when we start back after the Easter hols
